The staff at Saltillo Small Animal Hospital, P.A. rehabilitates wildlife and volunteers their time and hospital to help benefit injured or orphaned wildlife. In the future he plans to become large enough to hire another veterinarian to continue to provide the highest quality of service to his growing clientele.	Saltillo Small Animal Hospital, P.A. treats and cares for all types of pets. These include all bird species, reptiles, pocket pets, ferrets and other uncommon species. Dr. Morris' professional interest in avians and exotics started at a young age with his pet collection his parents allowed him to keep. During his years at vet school, he focused his attention on avian and exotic medicine. Dr. Morris spent his senior year completing externships that gave him the opportunity to work with unique animals such as elephants, gorillas, kangaroos, bears, and more. His travels took him from Mississippi to the Calgary Zoo in Alberta, Canada, to an avian hospital in Oahu, Hawaii. Currently, Dr. Morris is fulfilling the requirements to become board certified in avian medicine. This is one of many steps he is taking to expand his knowledge and practice.
